Citizens of Kyrgyzstan started burning their houses – this is a deliberate provocation, the Border Service of Tajikistan claims

“During the ceasefire period, citizens of Kyrgyzstan started to set fire to their own houses in Bogdari village. Such actions are a deliberate provocation to accuse the Tajik side of destroying their homes,” said the Border Service of Tajikistan.
The situation on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border still remains tense.
The message of allegedly the Border Service of Tajikistan is being distributed on Telegram channels. In it, it is written that Kyrgyz citizens are provoking houses by burning them.
“PolitKlinika” verified this information.
First, they falsified the information distributed by the Kyrgyz border service.
This message appeared on one of the provocative Telegram channels on September 17 at 03:30 a.m.
However, at 2:30 a.m. on September 17, the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security Kyrgyzstan issued the following statement: “Citizens of Tajikistan started burning their houses – this is a deliberate provocation.” In other words, the author of the provocative Tajik channel copied the information of the Border Service of Kyrgyzstan and simply replaced “Kyrgyzstan” with “Tajikistan”.
Further, “During the ceasefire, citizens of the Kyrgyz side started burning their houses in Bogdari village. Such actions are a deliberate provocation to accuse the Tajik side of destroying their homes,” said the Border Service of Tajikistan.
However, on September 17 at 02:30 a.m., the Border Service of Kyrgyzstan issued the original statement that said: “Citizens of Tajikistan started burning their houses in Bogdari village during the ceasefire from the Tajik side. Such actions of the citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan are a deliberate provocation in order to accuse the Kyrgyz side of destroying their houses.”
It follows that the Tajik media copied the text here as well.
Second, Bogdari is a Tajik village, inside of Tajikistan, therefore Kyrgyz people couldn’t have burned their houses there as they simply don’t live in Bogdari – which proves this public is spreading fake news.

Thirdly, some Tajik Telegram channels bragged about how their army was occupying Kyrgyz villages, burning houses, and looting them by sharing videos recorded by Tajik armed forces.
On September 16, “PolitKlinika” checked these videos and determined that they are Ak-Sai and Maksat villages of Kyrgyzstan. Additionally, when the videos of looting and occupation were recorded, the armed forces were speaking Tajik in the videos.
Fourth, the Border Service of Tajikistan has not issued any statement regarding Bogdari or that Kyrgyz citizens are burning their own houses.
Conclusion: The information that “Kyrgyz people are burning their own houses” spread on Telegram channels is FAKE. On the contrary, citizens of Tajikistan burning their houses on the borders is true.
